well, I’m back: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The holidays are nearly over, kids are getting over their illness (and so am I), and I am ready to put a week of senseless overindulgence behind me. So today I gave myself a present – a 1 hour walk around the lake with Jasper (with his new doggie backpack) and Daryn, getting fitted and bringing home a new kick-ass pair of walking/running shoes – and then I did the following workout:

3 rounds – no rest:

  • 5 Burpees
  • 15 Goblet Squats – 15 lb dumbells
  • 10 Thrusters – 15 lb dumbells

rest 1 minute, then three rounds no rest:

  • 20 Reverse lunges with 15 Db overhead
  • 10/10 DB swings – 15 lb dumbells
  • 30 boxer jumping jacks
