Dogs of Love

Dear Jasper,

It was one year ago today that you left us. I can’t believe this much time has passed already. You were a wonderful loving dog who taught us SO much, saw us through some dark times, and showed us what unconditional love looks like.

A few months ago, we met Watson. I think you may know this, because I am pretty sure you sent him to us. He needed a family and we needed him. Words cannot describe how amazing he is. Of course, he can never replace you – but I am pretty sure you knew what you were doing when you chose him. We met many other dogs – but when we saw Watson, we knew he was going to adopt us. Both you and Watson show us the healing power of love – and I am so grateful to have you both in my life.
