Tuesday Crossfit

I worked out today to Linkin Park. Somehow angry music seems to really motivate me during my most grueling workouts. I made this one up too, I hope its ok. It certainly felt challenging. This workout took me a total of 45 minutes. I did girlie pushups – and doing 30 of them seems to be getting easier. It may be time to switch.

I did a bad thing this morning, I got on the scale – and it still is not my friend. Although I know my body is changing and I have dropped a pants size, my weight is still very high. I am not happy at all about this. I have cut way back on so many things, stopped eating within 2 hours of bedtime, lowered my carb intake, eat lean protien, drink tons of water, etc.

I think it’s time to face the music and be much more diligent about portion sizes and counting calories. I hate the prospect of that. But doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results doesn’t reflect well on me. So with next weeks goals, I will add a new game plan. I am thankful for what Jen and crossfit has brought to my life, and I feel much healthier…

Here is what I did today:

 Warm up

  • 50 boxer jumping jacks

Repeat the following series 3 times

  • 30 box jumps
  • 30 pushups
  • 30 reverse lunges (15 each leg)
  • 30 dumbell swings w/15lb dumbell (15 each arm)
  • 30 plie squats with sumo lift (2 – 12lb dumbells)
  • Run 400 meters – 2.0 incline 5mph
