Jen is helping me. She is helping me to feel strong and invincible through her workouts and guidance. She is patient with me and doesn’t discriminate against me because of my weight. She gave me a workout to do today, and I just finished it…I added a few extras (Jen, please take a look and let me know if this was ok.):

 Warmup:

  • Jump rope for 2 mins

Repeat the following 4 times:

  • 10 cleans with 15# dumbells
  • 10 deadlifts with 20# DB’s
  • 30 jumping jacks
Then:
  • Four sets of 10 pushups
  • Side crunches, 20 each side
  • 50 air squats
  • Side crunches, 20 each side
  • End with 2 planks, count to 30 each
  • Stretch then feel great.

Jen also gave me 2 simple goals for this week:

  • no wine on school nights
  • cut back on carbs

I am happy to report that I have done both, and I am feeling mentally and physically better for it. So this weeks thankful post is about Jen. I am really fortunate to have you here to help me and encourage me with my journey.
