I seemed to have lost it.
Why is it so hard for me to get serious about fitting in exercise on a regular basis? I can do it for a few weeks and then, BAM – something happens to thow me off the wagon – then I roll down the hill and fall off the cliff. It takes FOREVER for me to climb back up. One of my health goals this year is to lose 30lbs by September. I am not going to get there by doing the same thing I have been doing – nothing.
“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.”
Well, that’s pretty much what I have been doing. It is true then, I am insane.
Can someone PLEASE help me?
You can do it, I believe in you & I`m here for you, my friendly neighbor & friend.
I have a couple of ideas of how to fit intense exercise in every day, one is running/walking your stairs as soon as you get home. I found this to be brutal & I could only do it a few times, but its real old school & I know B & J did it. Our stairs are perfect for this. You could leave your clothes out in the morning to hop into when you get home, walk in place & then hit the stairs. You can wear the clothes every day wothout washing for awhile since you`re at home!
Ugh. I’m in the same boat. I joined the gym like 2 and a half weeks ago, and i’ve been out of town, and then since just busy or whatever, not making time to go. π¦
Ugh! And i’m paying for this! Bad bad bad!
If you find the magic cure, let me know. π
Do you want to hear what’s sad? I have all the time and motivation to work out–I’m in this phase where I want to exercise every day or I go crazy. Well, I got into 3 injuries–my hips ache, I tore my thigh muscle on my left leg and I reactivated plantar faciitis in my right heel. I can barely walk and I decided it would be a good idea to run on Thursday and boy did I REALLY blow it. Now I can’t do anything for at least a month! :(((
Let this be a warning: when you DO get back into running, pace yourself. I didn’t burn out mentally from working out like a nazi but LITERALLY BURNED OUT PHYSICALLY :(((( Now I’m depressed and stuck!
I don’t know if that helped! I think you can get into it but the first 3 days if not week will suck and it will be a mental test of your will to do it… once you start though and your mind prevails, your body will fuel your need to exercise and it will make it a lot easier for your mind to want to work out…
