What inspires me most is the number of young folks, looking very close to 18 – and the diversity in that line. I see so many folks I know from the community – teachers, coaches, neighbors and friends. The feeling is electric – it’s history in the making.

I am inspired today. Inspired and thankful. Thankful to live in a country where we can stand side-by-side with others who we may not agree with, but still show mutual respect. Standing next to neighbors who, in the end, care about the future of this country just as much as I do.

I hope that after today, regardless of the outcome, we can all stand together and do what it takes to make our country strong again.

“It is a moving video, absolutely. Don’t let anyone tell you that supporting Obama is based merely on emotion or passion though (even though his followers are passionate) or that he doesn’t provide detail on his positions. He provides plenty of detail on his website, easy to find and check.”

His comment really made me think – and it occurred to me that it has been so long since we have had positive and inspired leadership in this country. Why not vote for a candidate because he inspires us? or because he instills within us a sense of hope and possibility?

In my mind – these are clear reasons why I want him to win. I believe an inspired America can progress in ways an un-inspired one cannot.

I continue to be amazed and inspired by people connecting in ways previously unimaginable – in the spirit of making a difference. This project is a testament to this and to the power of our new, interconnected global community.
